I have some pieces currently available to buy, exhibitied as part of Manchester Craft centres future makers craft trail. You can find my work in RA Designer Jewelley (studio 5) on the bottom floor until 29th of June 2013. I have a selection of silk scarves as well as 2 hand made machine embroidered jewelery boxes.

Beginning my third year I wanted to explore my interest into costume making and design further. I have begun by reviewing my previous work and choosing successful elements with potential to be developed further, including screen printing, fabric manipulation and free hand embroidery.
As well as extending my knowledge of computer programmes such as photoshop to diversify my skills further.
I began by selecting a painting to work from and inform my colour palette and texture/patten inspiration. I have chosen an illustration from Edmund Dulac’s Beauty and the Beast collection and produced a colour board to accompany it.

I plan to produce a range of samples around scheherazade’s Arabian Nights tales.
